Oftentimes, we get wrapped up with work, family, friends, and other things in life. We were very much in the same boat until a pandemic happened. In 2020, in the midst of the quarantine, we all started to look around and consider options for us to break the cycle of staring at the same 4 walls. I tried many things, but in the end, it was the photos of my son and wife that brought me the most joy. I started watching photographers on YouTube talking about the greats Cartier-Bresson and Frank Horvat, following Modern Photographers like Sean Tucker and Nick Turpin. Motivated to start getting out there for other kinds of shots, improve my technical capabilities, find my photographic style, and embracing the start of this new trail.

This site is my attempt to inspire and motivate myself. I hope if someone else stumbles across this little corner of the internet that they too get a little bit of a bug for photography, and end up getting out there to shoot.

In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.

I find that portraits are really a comfort zone for me, but this is a journey of self improvement and to find new joys in photography.

It is an adventure into the unknown.
